Firearms Rifle Training with Andrew Venables

We are time served practitioners from the shooting school of life: hunters, target shooters, wildlife managers, time served military and police weapons instructors and we are pooling our resources to make the UK's best training, practice and recreational shooting centre.

The Steel Challenge is 5000 acres of upland Wales, hewn by glaciers from bedrock and blessed with topography uniquely suited to challenging rifle shooting and safe bullet capture. There are buildings, facilities, 20 miles of internal road system, shooting from 50 metres to 2000 metres, CQB areas, driving and testing areas, MOE and DEMS areas, woodland, incline shooting (30 degrees to 200 metres, 20 degrees to 400 metres) and more!

In addition to the Steel Challenge, we can supply firearms, ammunition, all relevant shooting kit, in situ or ex situ training in all relevant subjects, UK and International hunting trips for all legal species in all the countries where they are sustainably managed and hunted.

Our focus, like the military, police and NRA is on Safe Shooter - Safe practice - Safe kit and Safe environment. YOU are responsible for every shot you make and every moment you handle guns of any kind.

You may add NRA range conducting rules to our basic rules, which are:

• All firearms are considered to be load at all times and handled accordingly
  NO exceptions

• Don't allow your firearm to point at anything you don't fully intend to shoot

• Don't put your finger into the trigger guard until you are on a correctly identified target

• Clear the foreground, target area and background before you fire the shot

Remember, you are only as safe as your NEXT safety check.
